Cakewalk 的初衷來自於喜愛過生日的氛圍，小時候留下一張張吹蠟燭的照片，總會勾起成長的種種回憶，在祝福中度過年年歲月。希望把這樣的氛圍留在充滿歷史痕跡的四四南村牆面，將做蛋糕的過程當作生命路上的往返，酸甜苦辣化成討喜的蛋糕，輕輕融進回憶的角落。
成長如同做蛋糕從無到有的過程，蛋、麵粉、糖、奶油經過一場冒險，火烤時間的蛻變，心意融入蛋糕之中，慶祝時間在我們身上留下的痕跡。
The inspiration behind Cakewalk comes from the atmosphere of birthdays. Blowing out candles always reminds me of growing up. That’s the recipe of me turning the process of cake-making into a metaphor for life’s journey.
